52 Lists - The Dreams/Goals You Had As A Child

52 Lists - The Dreams/Goals You Had As A Child

When I was young...

First I wanted to be a nurse

Then a special needs teacher

Then a nursery nurse

I also wanted a garden

And a house by the seaside

I wanted to run a shop

And a library

And a hotel

And I wanted to run away and marry a fisherman in Scotland!

(my dad very kindly decided to mention that little pipe dream in his 'father of the bride' speech...)

What were your dreams and goals as a child?

This post is part of Ema's (Made in Hunters) 52 Lists Project

  1. All excellent plans. I wanted to be a vet, and a teacher, and an interior designer, and a fashion designer. The best childhood dream I've ever heard was my friend Matt, who wanted to be a six-dot blue Lego brick! haha xxx

  2. I wanted to be in the RAF then an archaeologist or a journalist. Never became any of them lol.

  3. Ha ha how nice of your Dad to remind you of that and tell everyone too :)! I wanted to be a hairdresser, then an Air Hostess (I thought it looked like a glam job, flying to exotic places) and then a Vet. I settled for being a Veterinary Nurse instead for many years and I'm now a Receptionist in the Oil & Gas Industry. I wonder how many people end up doing their childhood dream job and stay in it?
