Ages and ages ago, Michelle from Life Outside London tagged me in her Very Inspiring Blogger Award post.
Michelle is someone who quite rightly deserves that award - she's fabulously funny (both online and in real life), lovely to talk to and if I could write only half as well as she does, I'd be one happy duck.
So a big thank you to Michelle for the nomination (and I hope I lived up to your expectations when we finally met!).
The rules of the award are:
1. Thank and link to the person who nominated you (see above)
2. Share 7 facts about yourself.
3. Nominate some other inspirational bloggers and tell them.
4. Proudly display the Very Inspiring Blogger Award badge.
So, 7 facts about myself (which you may well have heard before, sorry)
1. I was born in Scotland (but you'd never guess from my Wiltshire/Somerset accent).
2. Apparently I used to be able to count to 10 in Welsh when I was very young.
3. I don't own a passport.
4. I've met (well, shaken hands with) Ewan McGregor.
5. I can put myself and the footballer Ian Rush on the same family tree (he's married to my Dad's second cousin).
6. I have an incredibly sad spreadsheet of all the theatre and comedy shows I've ever seen (323 to be precise).
7. I love Hershey's chocolate. My dad used to work in America every few months when I was young and would always bring back sweets and chocolate so I grew up liking it. We even had Hershey's Kisses on the tables at our wedding reception!
My inspirational bloggers...
1. Angela over at Little Apple Tree for being an all-round thoroughly lovely person with excellent cake decorating skills.
