Day 3 of Rosalilium’s 'Blog Every Day in May' Challenge
I really value our weekend mornings together; I spent 5 and half years working 2 out of every 3 Saturday mornings so now it's a real delight to be able to get up whatever time I want at the weekend.
The reality is we usually end waking up about 8am anyway!
Sometime around 9am the radio will usually get put on, either Brian Matthew's Sounds of the Sixties on Radio 2 ('morning avids!') or depending on the theme, Desmond Carrington's The Music Goes Round from Radio 2 on the iPlayer.
That'll be the soundtrack to making breakfast together (or finishing the washing up from the previous night).

Then depending on the weather, Andrew will either go and do something outside on the garden or the driveway or go to his mum and dad's house to work on his lorry.
I'll stay at home and either do some gardening, cleaning or de-cluttering - getting distracted every 30 mins or so to check my email, Twitter, Facebook, Bloglovin, etc, etc, etc...
That'll take us up to about 1 or 2pm when we'll probably stop for a tea and something to eat - possibly a cake if I've been very productive and actually baked something!
How does your weekend usually pan out?
That sounds lovely and chilled...it won't always be so relaxed!!
