This weeks theme is...Don't Get Stressed
Inspired by National Stress Awareness Week
I try not to get too stressed; I tend to do a lot of things in my life to keep me occupied but being married to someone who's had depression on more than one occassion in the past, I know how important it is not to let things get on top of you.
If things are getting too much, please please stop reading this silly blog post and ring The Samaritans on 08457 909090

Love how you themed this post and great music choices too! I too married someone who has suffered from depression and is now actually a mental health social worker so he's certainly helping me in learning how to let things go.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachael! That's really great about your husband, being a mental health social worker must be a very rewarding (if also tiring) career. :-) x
DeleteGreat choices, I particularly love the Animals track :)
ReplyDeleteJaney
It is a good track, isn't it! It sounds great on a jukebox played out loud :-) x
DeleteAs someone with mood instability I had to simplify my life. And you're right, we must not let stress take its toll on us.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, it's really important not to let things get on top of you and sometimes just changing a few small things can make a huge difference. :-) x
