Five things which made me smile this month...
1. Meeting lots of fabulous bloggers at the South West Blog Social and meeting Katie for lunch out at Farringtons Farm Shop.
2. The lovely comments left on our 'Up Advenuture Book' blog post.
3. Buying heaps of tickets for theatre and comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
5. A BBQ with both families in our back garden
(luckily we managed to schedule it just before the rain arrived for Pilton!).

What little things made you happy this month?
You had such a lovely month, I'm so jealous you got to go to Glastonbury! I enjoyed finishing my second year of university in June and having loads of meetups with friends :) xx

I think that sounds like a good month! I remember the summers used to seem so long in-between each Uni year - enjoy! :-) xx
DeleteWhat a lovely month :) that Glastonbury photo is so colourful! Xxx
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Katie! After an afternoon of torrential rain and thunderstorms, it was quite the surprise to have a gorgeous sunset and evening! :-) xxx
DeleteSounds like a good month to me, I'm so jealous you went to Glasto, I've never been!
ReplyDeleteI always feel like some kind of horrible smug person mentioning Glastonbury because the fact that we work there means we get to go for free every year. There's lots of companies looking for work if you fancy going - one that's worth looking at is Festive Lizards (http://www.festivelizards.co.uk/) it's run by Carnival people in Somerset and they're quite a nice bunch of people. You have to pay £215 to them for you ticket in advance but then providing you turn up to do your three 8.5 hour shifts then you get the ticket price of £210 refunded back to you after the festival. They keep £15 for admin fees but going to Glastonbury for 15 squid isn't half bad! :-) xx
DeleteWas so lovely to meet you in person! We MUST do it again - that's an order. Sort of.
ReplyDeleteM x
Yes! That's definitely one order I'm happy to obey! :-) xx
DeleteDefinitely! We should sort something out over the summer, as long as no-one minds a small childe in tow.
DeleteI know there's not much of the summer left but we should definitely organise something for the autumn! :-) xx
DeleteIt was fab to see you again in Exeter! It's a lovely picture--would be even better if you were in it, too :)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Angela, next time we all meet up we'll have to rope in someone random to take the pic :-) xx
