Hot enough to have a fever?
'(Love Is Like A) Heatwave' entered the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in July 1963 reaching Number 4. 

3. In The Summertime by Mungo Jerry

Not sure the lyrics of 'Have a drink, Have a drive' should be taken literally!
'In The Summertime' entered the chart on 6th June 1970 reaching Number 1.
