We have mostly been...
Sheltering - from the wind and rain at Weston Super Mare Carnival on Friday night. We managed to get a space in a multi-storey car park along the procession route and then thought that the second floor was rather a good place to take photos from, resulting in excellent pictures like this!
This and another 27,732 photos of Carnivals over the years can be seen over on my other website -
Participating - in Jane's photo an hour challenge for November. Round up to follow on Thursday :-)
Eating - far too much food. Before the Carnival on Friday we went to a little seaside café (one we've been to before, it's a favourite - Oxford Corner) and had dinner plus a gloriously nostalgic pudding of peaches and ice cream for me and jam roly poly for Andrew.
Then on Saturday night, because we hadn't gone off to watch North Petherton Carnival we went out to our local Toby Carvery instead and had one of their 'pile-em-high' roast dinners.
Knitting - a little poppy for Remembrance Day.
Rescuing - this little fella from the wet pavement in Weston Super Mare. We looked around but there was no-one nearby who could've dropped him so we decided to adopt him and he came home with us. Andrew's named him Deano.
Fixing - the roof onto Andrew's shed for his lorry. It's almost nearing completion!
What did you get up to at the weekend?
It's probably a good thing that you ended up in the multi story because those photos are so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI adore your knitted poppy too...I want one! :)

Good work on the poppy- your knitting is coming along marvellously :) xxx
ReplyDeleteWe braved the rain for Bridgwater and I definitely wasn't disappointed - I hope you enjoyed Weston :)
