I like a good list (don't all bloggers?) and I'm certainly not someone to turn down a good challenge so when I spotted the 52 Lists Project on Jenny's blog (Sunny Sweet Pea) I decided to sign up. It's organised by Ema from Made in Hunters and the idea is that every week, she'll email you an idea for a list. Last week's prompt was 'Resolutions for 2014' (which I blogged about here) and this week is 'Your Favourite Moments from 2013'.
I find it really difficult to pick only a few favourite moments but I did a round up post last week which I'm going to be really cheeky with and direct you all to my other blog post.
The other project I thought I'd take part in is the 100 Happy Days Project which I'm sure you've seen popping up all over the place - I think every man, woman and their dog is taking part!
The premise is that it's incredibly difficult to find something to be happy about every day - so the challenge has been set to find something that makes you smile each day for 100 days. Apparently 71% don't complete the challenge so obviously that's like red rag to a bull to give it my very best shot!
My 100 days is going to start today (Saturday 11th January) and conviniently the 100th day will end up being on our 7th wedding anniversary (Monday 21st April). I'm going to Instagram a picture every day tagged with the #100HappyDays hashtag and also spend a bit of time seeing what's making everyone else happy as well. I'll also share some pictures on here as well over the next 100 days.
Anyone else taking part in either of these projects (or anything else)?
Leave me your links lovely people! :-)
I the 100 days project is just lovely, everyone can use a little happiness each day. Rooting for you to find 100 things. Not sure why I haven't ventured into that one yet...might have to :o)
ReplyDeleteM x
Oooh go for it! Even it you just do it occasionally, it'll make you think about what to take a pic of (although you could just post pics of Betty and Pete - that'd definitely make me smile each day!) :-) xx
DeleteOh cool! I'm taking part in 52 Lists as well. Although, I am going to pick and choose which ones I join in with actually. I guess I'm the only person not to have heard of the 100 Happy Days project; it sounds good. I want to do project365 again but might start that on my 29th birthday for it to conveniently document the last year of my twenties and of course, finish on my 30th birthday. Eek!
ReplyDeleteYay! Another 52 Lister! (can I make that a phrase, do you think?) :-)
DeleteI've never done a Project 365 but I agree, documenting the last year of your 20s would be a good way to do it! :-) x
I've just signed up for the 52 lists challenge. I love making lists! I'm thinking of saving the 100 Happy Days project to start on my birthday in June.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good idea! I'm sure there'll be lots more happy things to picture during the summert anyway! :-) x
DeleteI hadn't heard of 100 days of happy, but guess I'm doing something similar with my 2014 list of awesome. Up to #25 or so already, so well ahead of the one-a-day challenge (and I've even forbidden myself from writing 1. Chocolate 2. Tea 3. Chocolate and tea... haha) xxx
ReplyDeleteA 2014 List of Awesome sounds fabulous! And I think chocolate definitely should definitely count! :-) xxx
DeleteI've been enjoying your 100 days of happy pics. I'm not taking part in either of these, but I am doing the 52 photo project and also Laura at Circle of Pine's Year of Books.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Angela! The only problem with the Happy Days is that I sometimes peak too early and then find something better later in the day! I like the idea of the Year of Books - sounds fab! :-) xx
