This week's prompt is all about your perfect weekend to-do list (which probably wouldn't actually include sheep - I took this last Easter near Bangor in North Wales and I just like the picture!)
My perfect weekend would probably include (although not necessarily all at the same time)...
Blue skies and sunshine
Some kind of fry up (even better if it's cooked by the local farm shop)
Tea and cake at a cafe somewhere
A walk along a promenade or beach
A bit of browsing round a few charity shops
A swim in a warm sea (probably somewhere like Weymouth)
A trip to a car boot sale (bonus points if it's a lazy one which starts at 1 or 2pm)
Dinner or a barbecue eaten outside in the evening sunlight
Oh, and the other half!
What would your perfect weekend look like?

Fry ups really do make a weekend don't they?!
ReplyDeleteThey so do! Any combination of bacon, eggs and sausage is pretty darn fab :-) x
DeletePretty much exactly the same, actually - although I am a proper granny and feel chilled to my bones in the evening most days, so a lazy Sunday roast in a sunny pub garden would be my preference over an evening BBQ. Oh, and swimming sounds like too much hard work- so I'd do double rounds of cafe tea and cake :p xxx
ReplyDeleteDouble rounds of tea and cake sound good! I think I'll take the swim in the sea during the summer and the slice of cake in the winter :-) xxx
DeleteAdd in a cream tea, and that's a downright perfect weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds fab to me! :-) xx
