We have mostly been...
Unpacking - lots of Christmas stuff from our loft. The tree's going up tonight!
Chuckling - at fab comedian Ed Byrne in Bristol's Colston Hall. It's about the fourth time I've seen him and we had front row balcony tickets (which Andrew bought over a year in advance as last year's Christmas present!). He've very very good; his routines about seemingly mundance mid life moments such as vasectomies, child rearing and hernias had us all crying with laughter!
Shopping - in Cheltenham, on a coach trip organised by our work staff society. I'd had the trip booked since February and although it was a lovely day it was also slightly frustrating that it fell on the same day as the Bath Xmas Bloggers Meet Up! Oh well, there's always next year...
Meeting - up with the Eli Trier, one of the lovely girls I met at the Pretty Nostalgic event back in October.
We met at the Roll for the Soul Cafe in Bristol, I had a delicious hot chocolate and we had a good old gossip, setting the world to rights. :-)

Making - some little Christmas bunting for my Secret Santa present for one of the girls at work. We have two computer monitors on our desks so I measured how much would be needed to go round the screens and cut up some little bits of fabric wrapping it up with a Christmas chocolate bar. We're doing our Secret Santa presents today so I hope she likes it!
What did you get up to at the weekend?
Looks like you had lots of festive fun! Is that a huge Brussel sprout dressed as an Xmas pud?! Either way it amuses me!
ReplyDeleteYou guessed correctly! It is a sprout dressed as a pud as seen in the window of White Stuff :-) x
DeleteThat bunting is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks! It was a bit fiddly to make but it looks great on the computer at work! :-) x
DeleteI love that first photo of the tinsel--so sparkly and fun! Looks like you had an amazing weekend and I'm certain that your workmate will love the bunting. I certainly would!!
ReplyDeleteWe all opened our presents later that day and she loved it! It's currently adorning her computer and then she said she's going to display it at home :-) x
