Inspired by the amazing Edinburgh Fringe Festival (on for the majority of August)


1. Backstage by Gene Pitney


Not to forget the hundred and thousands of stagehands, staff and backstage people working incredibly hard at the Fringe.
'Backstage' entered the chart on 17th February 1966 reaching Number 4. 


2. There's No Business Like Show Business by Ethel Merman


The song speaks for itself - there is no business like show business!
'There's No Business Like Show Business' is from the stage musical and 1954 movie version of Irving Berlin's 'Annie Get Your Gun'.


3. Fame by Davie Bowie


What every aspiring stand up comedian in Edinburgh is aiming for?
'Fame' entered the chart on 2nd August 1975 reaching Number 17.
