I might have had hundreds of shows booked and carefully planned out at Edinburgh but I still managed to grab a few minutes to pop into some charity shops.
First, I found this beautiful Joules Boutique yellow dress on the mannequin in the window of one shop. It's actually a size too big for me but I always try on clothes before I buy, and once I had it on, I decided that hopefully it wouldn't look too bad with a belt around the middle. Plus it has pockets!
And secondly, we just snuck into a shop as it was closing and found this thick polka dot Fat Face skirt tucked away on the rails. It's a bit difficult to see but as well as the polka dots, it has a subtle leaf design under the dots. It's sort of an A-line 1950's style with lots and lots of fabric so it swishes out when you walk.
And these weren't actually from Edinburgh, they were from a car boot sale we went to the other week, but I thought I'd chuck them into this post as well!
50p for this mint green floaty embroidered blouse, which I'm actually going to use as a very lightweight cardi/shawl/wrap thing.
Have you found any bargains recently?
That table center is gorgeous what a lovely find, i've developed a bit of a partaking in rehoming tablecloths and such in the last couple of weeks - certainly need some more tables to get them used though!
ReplyDeleteI love old tablecloths, although a lot of mine don't have homes as they don't seem to fit nicely on our tables! x
DeleteYou picked up such lovely stuff. I love the embroidered table cloth! Thank you for your link in the #lbloggers chat :) xx
