The Versatile Blogger Award

A few weeks ago the lovely Angela (and she really is lovely, I've met her in real life!) from Little Apple Tree nominated me for The Versatile Blogger Award.

So here we go...

1. Done - see above.

Saskia over at Braids and Books

Zoe over at Floral and Feather
Katie over at Hook, Line and Sink Her
Janey over at Is That You Darling
Laura and Michael over at Me, Michael and M.E.

Janet over at Words That Can Only Be Your Own

5. Seven interesting (although that might be debatable) facts about myself:

I grew up in the sort of house that wouldn't look out of place on one of those BBC1/C4 hoarding programmes on television.

I was born in Scotland so that makes me technically Scottish.

I shook Ewan McGregor's hand at the Moulin Rouge film premiere in London in 2001.

I've never dyed my hair.

I was a fan of Russell Howard before he became mainstream (oh yeah, I'm one of those people) when he used to play pubs in Chippenham and the comedy tent at the Ashton Court Festival in Bristol.

I can't stand the taste of a cup of coffee but quite like coffee cake and coffee-flavoured chocolates.

Before me and Andrew got our first house, I couldn't cook anything from scratch.

Thanks Angela!

  4. Thank you very much! I will eventually get round to passing this on, but not much time for blogging at the moment. I forget every year how busy I get in December!
