November Happiness

Five things which made me smile this month...

1. Being invited to the wedding of the year in the fairground world.

2. Meeting David Mitchell!

3. Rescuing this little fella from the road in Weston Super Mare (I hope whoever lost him isn't too sad, we'll definitely take good care of him).

4. Getting a prime spot to watch one of the Carnival processions, safe and dry in a multi-storey car park.

5. Finishing my little knitted poppy (and it actually not looking half bad!)

  1. Your poppy is beautiful! HOW amaazing is the car-park carnival shot- I feel like I am there!
Poor little dinosaur, he is adorable!!!
What made me happy was playing flute for a kids concert with my orchestra at the weekend, playing bear themed pieces (which got retweated by Michael Rosen to his 59,000 Twitter followers) AND I got to play the Duck-call part for Malcolm Arnold's Toy Symphony which was great fun! The conductor's son and I then sat trying to play Beethoven's 5th Symphony on the duck call! Plus, I found a really cute cat jumper in Sainsbury's last week!
