Here Is The News #35

Here is the News

Blogland Brilliance

Sophie's come up with a lovely list of ideas to make someone else's day (I particularly wish I'd done more of number 3).

Siobhan took part in a behind the scenes day at Oxfam Online, somewhere I've bought several things from before (my wedding dress was even from an Oxfam Bridal Boutique).

Zoe wrote a fascinating alternative London bucket list - the Rivoli Ballroom looks amazing!

And Jasmin Charlotte did one of the things from Zoe's list - the Aldwych tube station tour.

Charlotte discussed the changing atmosphere of charity shops with some interesting and very accurate observations.

Janet's picture shelf is really pretty (and she clearly has good taste as we have the same bed as them!)

Sarah's 5 things you need to do before you're 30 is an excellent list and all very good common sense.

Kerri visited a China Light Festival in Antwerp Zoo which (if you take out the wee incident) is both beautiful yet also strangely bizarre.

And Jen launched a new Make Do and Mend-able directory which you can visit over here and then spend several hours browsing through all the resources and archives.

Michelle's (or rather, Mr Michelle's) popeye breakfast.

Sophie's Chocolate Honeycomb Muffins - they use Crunchies!

Interesting Info

10 things you can do with the Twitter search box - I only knew a couple of these but I can imagine how they'd all be useful.

  3. Haha, congrats on your excellent taste in beds! I like it chiefly because there's so much storage space underneath to shove all my junk!
