An A-Z of Me - V (#BEDM Day 3)

Vintage - Like a large proportion of bloggers, I have a fondness for anything old, retro or vintage. Not just the clothes and homeware but also things like seaside architecture, fairground rides and old vehicles (although that's probably more Andrew's thing than mine). I'd particularly like an old showman's caravan or shepherd's hut to tow behind his lorry at steam rallies but I think that'd take rather a lot of looking after! (also, the book in the picture is probably the oldest thing we own, it dates back to 1865)

Vaseline - I can pretty much guarantee that I will always have a pot of Vaseline somewhere in my handbag or nearby. It's about the only beauty product that I couldn't live without!

What 'V' things sum you up?

  1. I love this series and I'm sorry it's been so long since I last visited your blog, I am so behind with everyone! I love these choices for V - I definitely agree with the vintage one, I am drawn to old books in particular and vaseline is one of those things which is a life saver for dry hands and chapped lips. I think for me, V is summed up with volcanoes at the moment. Ever since graduating I have been thinking of different ways to keep my interest in what I studied and I never get tired of reading about volcanoes - bit geeky but definitely me! - Tasha

  2. Crikey, V is a hard one - Maybe Vans - I love those shoes. Or Vancouver - that city has stolen my heart! And of course vaseline - never trust anyone with out lipbalm in their pocket!

  3. I really like this series you do. I love what you wrote about liking the vintage beyond the typical blogger love- your carnival knowledge and experience is what makes you really stand out for me as a unique blogger (aside from the excellent recommendations for blog reading material!) x
V for me would probably be 'Viola'- was such a huge part of my life for such a long time!x

  4. V is a hard one! I'm sick so my brain isn't working and the only V word I can think of is vacation... and I don't even use that since I'm not American!
