A Photo Every Hour - Saturday 22nd February

February's 'Photo Every Hour' challenge (courtesy of the lovely Jane from Is That You Darling) fell on Saturday 22nd February.

The beauty of doing a photo an hour challenge is that sometimes your day is full of fun and games and other times your day probably seems rather mundane. I'm a nosy so and so though, so even a day that seems boring to everyone else is quite interesting to me!

As well as Jane, Rachel (from Dear Ms Leigh) and Shazzarob (from Sunshine and Celandines) also took part.

Here's my Saturday in pictures...

9am - a quick jump in the shower before heading out for the morning.
Shower water droplets - Bath Fertility Clinic in the sunshine
10am - we arrived at the fertility clinic in the beautiful spring sunshine.

11am - last bit of the treatment over and done with (now all we have to do is wait!).
Hospital bed - Fried breakfast
12pm - on the way back from the clinic, we stopped off at the local Co-op store for a breakfast
(aka. lunch/brunch/whatever).

1pm - after breakfast we headed to visit Andrew's mum before she left to go to hospital in Bristol.
This was the view from her living room window!
Blue sky, sunlight and clouds - A cup of tea
2pm - back home with mid afternoon cup of tea.

3pm - Andrew's planning a new driveway at the moment so I lent a hand holding the tape measure.
Measuring the driveway - planning the new driveway
4pm - still planning and measuring
(he's a precision mechanical engineer so it was always going to be like this...).

5pm - Andrew retired to the garage (aka. the man cave) so I took the chance to try and catch up with 3 weeks worth of blog posts.
Bloglovin feed - Ordering a Domino's Pizza
6pm - all our good intentions for a healthy dinner went out the window when Andrew suggested a Domino's pizza!

7pm - the pizza arrives and we tuck in (if you're interested, it was a special deal of a large pizza (we had half Meator and half New York Deli), coleslaw, garlic pizza bread and wedges).
Domino's Pizza - Made in Dagenham
8pm - on our hard drive we had the film, 'Made in Dagenham' so we thought that'd do for the evening.

9pm - 'Made in Dagenham' is very good!
Made in Dagenham - Bedsocks
10pm - heading to bed at this time probably means I'm getting very very old...

If you fancy taking part in Jane's Photo an Hour challenge next month, pop on over to her blog to find out what the next date is. :-)

    1. Thanks Jane! Hopefully one of the hospitals (the one where my father in law is) will be out of the way this week - they're planning on letting him home finally! :-) x

    1. We meant to see it ages ago, when it was at the cinema and never got round to it. It's a very good film! :-) x

  3. I understand what it's like to live with an engineer. Always with the measuring and wanting to "do stuff properly"!! What's wrong with a bodged version?! It's done quicker, which means more time for tea and biscuits :p xxx

    1. Haha, absolutely! I always end up saying to him, "well, surely that'd do?" but apparently it never will! :-) xxx
